JSPICC, Jinan
"Life's a bed of...snow"
I was sent by my company (this is my second deployment, actually. First one was in Feb 2001) and loved it more this time because I experienced the first winter in my life :)
Although the temperature is very new to me, I enjoyed it much eventhough there were some instances of pain in my hands and feet because of the frost bite.
Our boss gamely toured us in the plaza where the monument of Mao Ze Dong stands tall (going there by foot only was no joke considering it was so far from our workplace). Then we climb up a mountain (there were about more than a hundred paved steps) where on top of it lies another monument. It was a sight to behold where you can see the whole of the city of Jinan. Next stop...a mini market where pirated DVDs were rampantly sold...
Going back to the office was proved to be more tiring...going again by foot (whew!)
