Definitely Qingdao!
Qingdao and its vicinity by the Yellow Sea offers a lot of great beach opportunities. There are lots of beaches open to the public for recreation. There are some in town and some on the road to the Laoshan scenic area. The sands here are not very white though. Beach volleyball, swimming, surfing, etc. can be done here.
Qingdao is a lovely city lies on seaside. With the nice rocky beach and plenty of seafood... The city is also famous for the western architectures left by the colonists in last Century. Wandering around the old part... I was totally falling with city scene.. following the narrow sinuous streets up and down... with red roof tiles, green trees all around...
Qingdao is also famous as its wellknown beer brand... I like the draught more... We missed the beer festival.. but it doesn't matter.. coz we had a lot of it there... we were drinking beer for breakfast at early 9am that day... it's was sooo tasty with incredibly reasonable price.. and we didn't feel weird at all.. :)
Qingdao is a good place for warter sports. In cooperation with the Beijing Olympic Games 2008, Qingdao will hold the Sailing Competition at that time. You wanna go there to watch?
