Hi
I will be visiting Weihai during October and I am looking for a good budget hotel in a central location.Any information would be very welcome.

I stayed at the Wei Hai Wei hotel for months, many years ago when it was new. It was a good hotel. I haven't been there recently, so hard to say what it is like now.
I found Weihai to be a very nice little city. You will enjoy it.

This is really a fantastic place to visit really central to many attractions and heritage sites We Booked a 4 star hotel at http://www.findchina.net/Weihai.html for £26.00 per room per night great value even the taxis and restaurants are cheaper than elsewhere in china Very pretty with the parks lining almost the entire coastline and so Peaceful compared to the rest of china. Made a change from Beijing.

Try out GreenTree Inns, they're as low as 99.8 rmb a day and that's a little bit under 15 USD which is a sweet deal. They're a budget hotel but still try to give as much luxury as possibly to their guests. they're realtively new and began opening in 2004. They have a bunch of locations!
