Comfortable stay

Pleasant well appointed hotel, with corner rooms offering a little more space. Well located just off the pedestrian part of Nanjing Road.
Excellent breakfast buffet, with some freshly cooked Western and Asian dishes.
Concierge and porters were very helpful and obliging.
As accommodation was part of the tour package, I have no idea of the cost but would think the upper end of the middle range

Fine hotel in superb location

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with it. The suite we had (no standard rooms available at the time) was very good value for money. The suite was nice and spaceous, the hotel staff very friendly and professional. The service was discrete and efficient.

Will stay there in the future too, and I recommend it to anyone not on a shoestring budget. The price is affordable, compared to international 4 star hotels just a few steps north, directly on Nanjing Road.

Unique Quality: Location and atmosphere.

Conveniently located in at the heart of downtown Shanghai's shopping and business district and adjacent to the Century Square on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Mall, the Central Hotel Shanghai brings guests enough convenience for business, sightseeing, catering and entertainment purpose.

Hotel in Nanjing Donglu

Located right at the vicinity of Nanjing Donglu. This is a 4-5* hotel where location is its draw. For those who wants to do lots of shopping, this is one of the best hotel you can station yourself. It also has a business center with a v. reasonable internet access charge.

Unique Quality: US$96 + 15% Tax.

The hotel shuttle bus is the non- stop line between hotels in downtown area and Pudong International Airport.
Interval time of hotel shuttle bus is about 1 hour. I have been told the hotel busses don't always run and a taxi is better.

Central Hotel, Shanghai - Rating?

Hi VT members. I'm going to be there in Shanghai next week. Just want to know the "central hotel" at JiuJiang Lu. Is it a good location to stay?! It is nearer to Nanjing Lu, but is it advisable?! Thanks in advance for the advice!

hi, i am in shanghai. the 'jiujiang rd and nanjing rd are in the centre of shanghai city. it is really good location, but i believe the cost is very high.
