I was there during the riots and massacres of tian-an-men in 1989;bad period to be a tourist in chinaon the last day,I went by foot from downtown to the zoo,then to the airport, because I heard that many western journalists had been arrested in the big hotels;I was afraid to take a bus,I would have been seen by everybody;just before the zoo,I asked my way to a spices-seller,he did not understand me,so I draw on his newspaper a plane and I said:'vrrrrrrroooooummm'
