Excellent Hotel
The Crowne Plaza Shanghai is one of several members of that prestigous international chain. This one is in the older part of the city. It is located at least a 20 minute taxi ride from the Bund and the newer parts of the city.
There are 2 restaurants, a chinese restaurant and one where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. You can have the buffet or select from an ala carte menu. There is also a bar where drinks and sandwiches are served. The hotel has a number of shops in addition to the restaurants.
The concierge is very helpful in booking tours and any other services you may need or want.
Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with all the usual amenities. Wi-fi howerver is only available in the lobby. But, it is free.
Unique Quality: The lobby has a car in it that was used in a series of films. The chinese restaurant with a wide selection of regional dishes. Service is good, quality is excellent and the prices not excessive for a hotel restaurant.

I stay for 6 night in Crowne Plaza Fudan hotel in shangha its grate realy good and i enjoid my stay on that hotel, larg room , grate breakfast , good indoors swimming pool , ....
i recommend this hotel

Shanghai,Hongqiao side
This one is used to be one of the hotel near the airport(Hongqiao International airport,but since the airline doesnt use this airport anymore for international destinations the hotel is so far now, unless there are still other international airlines used this).
The rooms are quite old and dark but i feel so comfortable sleeping here..i like the bed and pillows.
Breakfast is very good..i enjoyed it so much.
Stafff are not so friendly and accomodating.
Unique Quality: 15 mins easy access to main city centre. shopping areas and tourist spots.
