Take the Metro Line No.2, get off at Longyang Station, the meglev just next to the metro station. Meglev runs from 7:00 to 21:00, from Longyang station to PVG cost only 8minutes by meglev. when you buy the meglev ticket, show the officer your airticket, you can get meglev ticket by 20% discount.

See my Shanghai page for information on the Maglev. Also look at the warning about taxi drivers at the Maglev station.
Travel Tips for Shanghai
Nan Jing Dong Lu
by Sharrie
Shops around Nan Jing Dong Lu. The mega stores here will leave you wanting for more. Made in China goods are improving in quality & designs, especially its leather goods. Good value for money. My friend refused to leave the departmental stores even though we had a prior arranged & paid River cruise! I had no choice but to promise her to come back after the cruise & we stayed shopping till the store's closing time. Bought so many bags & pairs of shoes, it's incredible. I didn't expect to buy anything from this city at all! Next time, will have to remember to bring more RMB!
Shanghai airports
by mikelisaanna
Shanghai is served by two major airports, Pudong and Hongqiao. Choosing which one to use depends on which side of the Huangpu river you are staying. If you are staying on the Pudong side (the east side), then use Pudong Airport. If you are staying on the Puxi side (the west side), then use Hongqiao Airport. Pudong is the larger and newer of the two, but also the farthest from the city. Hongqiao is smaller and older, but closer the the central city.
Good lunch noodle!
by rabbit06 about Ye Ca Ye Zhuo Tea Restaurant
Ye Ca Ye Zhuo or One Tea One Chair Tea Restaurant was handy as after so much shopping we were both hungry! Shirley went for a typical teahouse style lunch, was very satisfying and flavoursome and i could not help myself, went for a tasty noodle which was really nice with a couple of cold beers!
Pearl Oriental TV Tower
by karen75
Just like the CN Tower, the Pearl Oriental is a TV tower although it's not as tall as the CN Tower. It's located in Pudong across the Huangpo River from the Bund and stands 468 meters tall (1,563 feet). It is the world's third tallest TV and radio tower.
For the price of admission, you can go up to the observation deck. It was raining and overcast the day we went up but I didn't care because if you're going to come all the way to Shanghai, then you might as well go up the Pearl Oriental.
Shanghai

"Where am I?"
Is this really Shanghai? We landed at this newly completed Pudong International Airport. We passed through this beautiful Nanpu suspension bridge across the Huangpu River on our way to our American brand chain hotel. Skyscrapers are everywhere with many of them are still under construction. I know Shanghai is a modern city but I also know China is an ancient country with a lot of history. I am surprised by what I am seeing and worried about what I may not be able to see with this fast moving modernization. Nevertheless, this is Shanghai in December of 2001.
