Russian look

You look at the Bund, with futuristic buildings in one bank of the river, and classical ones in the other, and something looks... odd. I was not very familiar with Chinese architecture but... those buildings... it seems that I saw them somewhere else, but not in China!
Russia! Of course!
The old Bund is a mixture of styles and epochs, displayed before you as a history book.

This was one of my favorite treats in Shanghai. It is a skewer with fruits such as strawberries, kiwis, oranges, pineapple etc. Coated with a clear hard shell of sweet candy. Much like a candy apple . Lovely to look at and eat.
Yu Gardens and Bazaar - Huxinting Teahouse
by K.Knight
The Yu Gardens and Bazaar also have a lovely Teahouse that is located in the middle of the large lake that forms the centerpiece of the Bazaar. The atmosphere is very relaxed and a traditional tea ceremony will be performed on request.
Every flavor of tea that you could think of is served in the tea house; however, at 25 Yuan it is quite expensive for a cup of tea. This seems to be the case in most of the Gardens and Bazaar as the prices in most of the shops are extremely inflated.
In 1 particular tea shop we saw a tin of tea on offer for 75 Yuan, that night we went to a local store near our motel and saw the same tin of tea for 11 Yuan!
Exciting Shanghai
by Martin_B
I found in Shanghai a little bit of Hong Kong but more smaller. You know, there is the harbour with the lights on the building just as HK do. But it is still very different. I did'nt stay long time in Shanghai itself. I was more in cities in the suburb of Shanghai.
