Jinjiang Inn (Shanghai Pudong Airport Second)

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL, STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS TO AVOID IDENTITY THEFT (read below)

Stayed at the Jin Jiang Inn for only 1 night and was a victim of identity theft there. Used my Amex card and 3 days later, 6 transactions for over $2,500 USD showed up on my account.

The Jin Jiang Inn staff are average borderline rude, but never thought they would do something so underhanded as to steal guests' information/credit card info for their own benefit.

The kicker: 2 colleagues stayed there in separate rooms, and BOTH ALSO HAD THEIR CARDS FRAUDULENTLY USED to the tune of over $4,000 (combined).

This tells me that they are used to doing such things to int'l travelers for whom it's not always convenient to mind expenses until they get back to their country of origin. Luckily, Amex notified me via email right away and I had the account canceled.
