You can find mass times for all Shanghai churches here;

But it suggests that all masses at the cathedral are in Chinese. There are English masses elsewhere.

Xujiahui Cathedral doesn't have Mass in English, unfortunately.
Shuyinlou Building
Located at 77 Tiandeng Lane in Nanshi District, the Shuyui Lou Building was built in the Qing Dynasty by Shen Chu, the vice editor-in-chief of the 'Complete Library in the Four Branches of Literature'. The brick sculptures in the building are all precious and unique art works such as delicate lattice walls and lintels with various lively figures.
I spent a week in China and at the end of the tour, I was so, so tired of eating Chinese food, even though I like it a lot. But fortunatelly there are a lot of Mcdonald's and Subway around downtown. A good choice to have a familiar taste.
Strolling at the Bund is 'the' thing to do in Shanghai. It is worth your time. The whole stretch is long. You can really admire the old architecture along the Hunagpu River. On the other side of the river, you can admire the new skyline of Shanghai which is the Pudong area. It's an interesting contrast between the new and the old. I went there twice: once during the day, and again during the night. Both visits gave me different point of view. I think the old buildings look gorgeous during the day. On the other hand, Pudong skyline looks better at night.

Pictured here, the grandiose elevators of the Peace Hotel South, which may be the oldest in Shanghai... Apart from the meeting of the International Opium Commission, this hotel is also famous as the place for the celebration party of Sun Yatsen's inauguration...
