Pudong Airport Hotels

I have not stayed at either hotel but have been told by those that have is that they are great for an overnight stay for an early morning flight. I believe both hotels are owned by the same company.
There are other hotels at the airport but mention these 2 for the following reasons;
1) The prices are reasonable. The Hotel 168's are all over China. They are like the Hotel 8's in the states.
2) Both are located "IN" the airport, between terminals 1 and 2.
3) The Hotels are connected both to each other and the airport.
4) For an added bonus, there's a bar located in the domed walk-way connecting the hotels, affording a great view of the airport and the ocean.
5) Both hotels are located over the Maglev train.

It is in between of Caobao Rd. Station on line 1 and Guilin Rd. Station on line 9.

hello! can anybody help me find a cheap hotel in shanghai, china? 5 of my friends will be staying there for 4 days and we are on a tight budget. please, please help us locate an affordable hotel near the bund or other tourist spots in shanghai. thanks

Captain YH on Fuzhou Lu is at the Bund. Clean and cheap. You find more details (webaddress, phone and so on...) under my tips for Shanghai.

Nearest hotel to the airport?

What is the nearest hotel to the airport? This person in another forum will be arriving in Shanghai at 1AM. He would want to ride the Maglev train to Longyang road. However given the early arrival time of his flight he has 9-10 hours to burn. So instead of waiting at the airport he is thinking of getting a hotel near PVG before using the MagLev.

Motel 168 is perhaps the best place to stay in you need lodging near the Pudong (PVG) airport. It'll cost around US$100.
