View of the City from the Ritz by MarianneRules This is where my aunt lives and works. It is incredible. It’s a hotel, a residence for ex-pats (I didn’t know what that was until this trip), and a business center. This place has everything (grocery store for foreigners, drycleaner, several restaurants of varying price and quality, travel agents, business offices, bank, post office, gym, spa, and more)…..I cant get over how lucky we were to stay there. To visit China during the day, and to come home to an apartment just like home at night...lucky, lucky, lucky. If you live here, you don’t even need to leave…It’s practically its own city. I don’t think it’s a true taste of China, but it sure is one hell of a great pit stop between ventures out into the real country
It’s the Ritz….Shanghai Center…it has everything so even if you don’t stay here, but are a foreigner and need a dose of home….or help…I am confident you can get it here.
