    The Rainbow Hotel Shanghai was opened on 8 Aug in 1988( 8/8/88).

    The hotel is located halfway between Hongqiao International Airport and the downtown area.

    The round-the-city flyover nearby makes it very easy to reach the Bund, Hongqiao International Airport, the Downtown area and the Pudong Development District.

    15 minutes to the bund or downtown

    • The service is great, The food at the resturants was very good. The most beautiful garden and the staff was very friendly.
    The night club on the top floor was over the top.
    Next time I go to Shanghai, I'll stay at the Rainbow Hotel for sure.

    The hotel has a fitness spa, suana and a steam room and of course an indoor swimming pool. At the health spa, I had the best massages I've ever had in my life. The prices are very reasonable.
    There's a traditional Chinese garden outside of the lounge and resturant on the ground floor. It's beauty is enchanting.
    There's a park next to the hotel where every morning I would watch a group of people doing Tai Chi.
    The bar on the top floor had great views and the women were very friendly and very pretty.

    • We stayed here for one night on the way to Beijing from Jiangsu. Most of the guests staying in the hotel were business travellers.

    The hotel is relatively close to Hongquiao Airport.
