RAMADA PLAZA HOTEL at Nanjing road is one of my favorite hotel in Shanghai at Pu xi side. It is situated right outside the pedestrian mall where you can shop, walk around or simply sit down and enjoy the people. The pedestrian walkway also serves as a park where everyone can sit down and talk. It is not too far from subway stations. I usually walk from here all the way to the bund and pass over Fu zhou lu where some bookstores are located. i was able to buy books written in english by local college students.
