My Shanghai friends booked this Hotel for me as it was very close to my business associates Office and Home. I was given a room that didnt have a window. At first I thought "no way" but it was so quiet and dark that I've never slept better whilst away on business. I am staying again in a week or 2 and have actually requested the same room!
The Hotel is first class. The breakfast buffet was as good as any I have seen anywhere in my travels. Perfect for Westerners and Easterners alike.
Great karaoke bar inside the Hotel, very well run by the affable Yu Ki and many very beautiful hostesses.
Excellent coffee shop that actually knows how to make coffee ( sometimes a challenge in China)
An excellent Spanish influence restaurant and bar.
Close proximity to a very big Supermarket for essential items (snacks, water etc)
It is probably 10K in from the Bund not far from Yan'An West Rd which heads straight there. Maybe not the best location for day to day tourists but still a great spot.
