    5 star hotel near shanghai museum station - 20 minutes walk to the tube station or 5 minutes by taxi- personally i like walking , and at the week end you cannot miss the families and kids flying kites near shanghai museum tube station. the service in the hotel is excellent, all staff very helpful , concierge very helpful. i was staying in a deluxe room which was very confortable. the hotel has 46 stories and at the top you have a revolving restaurant ( never been there myself) also there is sauna and swimming pool hotel is not too near the very town center but taxis are so cheap! i am airline staff so i had very good discount but dont really know the standard price i would think quite expensive!

    very friendly staff , fairly good location , nice rooms, luxurious hotel easy to get to from airport, either taxi or maglev + tube + 20 minutes walk or taxi

  • Very nice place to stay!! If you are lucky enough to afford the price tag, or (it helps if you are an airline employee, or any other job field to get a Discount) You will be pampered Extremely Well. The VIP Exectuive Check-In is on the 38 floor, and what a view of the City. The decor was absolutely stunning as was the hardwood floor. (so at AWE that I forgot to take a picture to show you :-(.... ) The rooms were nicely maintained, and stocked with everything one would expect from a 5 Star Hotel. Staffed by some of the Best Hotel Employees I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. From Housekeeping, to the Doormen, all the way to the Front Desk . Everyone made me feel at Home, and most of all Welcome.

    Itīs a real 5 stars...A perfect situation, incredible rooms & suites, very good restaurants ( cantoneese & japanese, both fantastics), and a very helpfull concierge desk ( this is very important in China, if you donīt speak Chineese ). 10/10 for the Sofitel JingJang Oriental Pudong

    Great and quiet pool, for your relaxing time at the end of the journey.
