Location: Located 15km (9m) southwest of Shanghai. Airport facilities: The airport has a Bank of China with currency exchange facilities and a post office, both open 0600-2200 as well as a variety of restaurants, bars and shops including duty-free open at similar times. Most major hotels have shuttle buses from the airport and CAAC City Buses run regularly to city destinations including the city ticket office; no. 925 runs to People's Square, no. 831 to the Bund, no. 505 to Renmin Square, and no. 833 to Shanghai Railway Station. There is not much space on buses for luggage. Taxis are readily available; the driver should use the meter but if it is not working agree on the fare before leaving the airport. The journey time to central Shanghai is approximately 25-40 minutes.
