Considering the Shanghai Wu Gong Hotel in Shanghai?

Everything seems extremly logical when the money has poured into Pudong, and buildings inexcessingly spourts out from the dirt. All seems good, but in reality does these investments pay off? Does the optimistic claims of Shanghai being the next Tokyo/ Hong Kong, or the "Century Avenue" becomes the next Champ Elisse have any truth to them besides hype?Sure, the buildings won't stop showing up, but the more telling sight is the condition of the street and infrastures between the big name buildings. It is not so promising. Dirty, incomplete, temperory.
