2-star budget hotel on Nanjing Road East
I stayed for only a night in the hotel because I was given a room with a window that was directly facing the intersection of Nanjing Road East and Zhejiang Zhong Road so it was kinda noisy with all the vehicular and human traffic. Although it was a very spacious room, it felt very dingy as the hotel seemed pretty old and there wasn't enough lighting. The beds were too hard (like sleeping on hard boards) and the carpet appeared dirty. I paid 360RMB for the room and I felt kinda shortchanged as there were cheaper budget hotels around that were probably more comfortable. Facilities were very minimal and basic. The location is pretty good of course if you don't mind the noise.

A Hotel at the Outskirt of Shanghai

Although this hotel is not situated at the heart of Shanghai city but you still can access to some of the major tourist spots by hailing a taxi. Shanghai Bund and Nanjing Road are just 3km away.
Unique Quality: Please note that electrical jug for boiling water is not provided. Instead, the hotel provides a small dispenser for drinking water. The tub of water is very small and definitely not enough for thirsty travellers. Hair dryer is not available too.
Breakfast served in their restaurant and tea house lack of variety.
