The bus from Pudong to Hangzhou departs at: 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:30, 17:30, 19:30. The ticket price is RMB100, about $12.

You're right, you'll be too late to catch the direct bus from Pudong airport to Hangzhou.
However, if you're in a rush to get to Hangzhou, why not take a taxi or airport shuttle no.5 to Shanghai main train station and take a train to Hangzhou from there? Or even the next morning (stay overnight in town rather than near the airport, it'll be cheaper); it'd be cheaper than taking the direct bus from Pudong airport to Hangzhou.

honestjohn, the info you've given is irrelevant to madon70, who's arriving at PVG at 2100, way after the last shuttle to Hangzhou has departed. Did you read the question carefully?

You might as well take the airport shuttle to Shanghai train station, stay overnight there and catch the train to Hangzhou the next morning. That'd actually work out to be cheaper.
Travel Tips for Shanghai
Get away from the crowds of Shanghai
by MikeySoft
Get away from the crowds of Shanghai and take a nice walk in Zhong Shan Park.
See retired people playing cards, children playing, nice scenery.
Take Metro line 2 to Zhong Shan Park.
Please rate this and my other tips whey you find them useful.
Taxis in Shanghai
by cheezecake_deli
Taxis are a convenient and relatively affordable way to get around Shanghai. They are plentiful, almost always Volkswagen Santanas, and can be hailed anywhere. Fares start at RMB11 and increase by RMB1 thereafter. There is no need to add tip. There are many taxi companies in Shanghai - they are all much the same, though Da Zhong drivers seem to be the most professional and are more likely to have the air-conditioning on in summer!
Pudong
by tyusen
Chinese dress, Peking opera, Tai Chi and bicycle... We usually think of China in terms of things like that. On the other hand, China actually has another aspect. Pudong area is a symbol of developing China. There are lots of skyscrapers in this area. It may not be easy to find good old China there but this inorganic and geometric scenes are also typical Chinse landscape now.
U-Garden, once the highest...
by rebibi
U-Garden, once the highest Point of Shanghai with a beautiful view on the Yangtsee River. Nowadays many skyscrapers rise above this point! Unfortunately it was raining that day so I took not many pictures and the few ones I took are rather bad. This is part of a banisters in the U-Garden.
Cool winter nite

"Cheng Huang Miao"
Before countdown 2005, we had dinner at Nan Xiang, a place well known of Xiao Long Bao, a special pork + crab meat dumpling. The bridge under it is called Jiu Qu Qiao, meaning bridge with 9 corners. Ancient people thought that ghosts cannot come to the house as "they" can only walk straight, haha..
"Xin Tian Di"
A place to celebrate New Year Day. I saw crowds, crowds and crowds. My favourite Taiwanese artist David Tao was performing at a musical concert. I didn't need to buy ticket, as the music was so loud!
