Infinite simcard.
by Guantanamera
Here is another photo of VT member simcard taken at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Pudong... In this one, Emily stands between opposing mirrors, creating the effect of infinite reflections and infinite simcards... This picture reminds me of those Russian babushka dolls, where one woman is enclosed inside another, symbolizing the continuity of life from one generation to the next...
Xin Tian Di
by limledi about ARK Live House
A hopping concert venue, ARK Live House has revived the rock scene in Shanghai by importing bands from Beijing, Japan, and occasionally the U.S. Tucked away in a narrow alley in Xintiandi, ARK is one of the most established live music venues in town, with a symphonic sound system and an intimate view of the stage from every corner. Local and overseas bands showcase their talents every night of the week. Find a table on the first or second floor, sit back and enjoy the tunes. Open-space music bar format offers a variety of bands and welcome relief from cover band purgatory. Free entry. Opens daily 5:30pm-1am. All cards accepted.

I like some ideas here, but not all. =) the important is, since you don`t really care about food so much if it is fairly okay, and the enviorment is great. bring your loving one here, you may get agreement with marry her.;-P hmmm, there is a dish, named iced mango, not bad, and also longjin tea with chicken sth mixed(forgot the name of it, kinda poetic tho ;-P)
Shanghai Sightseeing Tunnel
by nepalgoods
The Sightseeing Tunnel is a very convenient but also very strange way to go from the Bund beneath the Huangpu River to Pudong. The tunnel starts on the Bund just across the Peace Hotel. It is about 650 m long.
In small electric waggons passengers drive through the tunnel. There are many lights, laser lights and electrical music. It reminded me of a ride on through a ghost train on a fun fair. A very strange experience!
