by JennaWang7

Hi,

I am bringing my relatives for a visit to Shanghai and would like some info about where I can hire a minibus to take us around and show us the sights for a couple of days - April 10th and 11th.

Anyone with any help - I thank you very much.

I was just in shanghai and my group had hired some Buick vans through a company, but im not sure they speak anyenglish. They are very reliable though. The guy I had driving me was called Mr Jiang and his phone number is 13331805017. Email is refine@chinastar.sina.net

Hope you manage to get someone!

International Artist Factory.

I don't know clearly which kind of artist processing it provide. Maybe most of produce is fit to women. Fashion and Lifestyle are two catchphrase it offered. Whatever it provide, I suggest that visit the design room. very beautiful. Even if you have no business with them, just enjoy this studio shop.

Find the departure dock

by herzog63

If you are going to take a ship out of Shanghai I would recommend finding the dock the day before so when it's time to go you won't get lost and miss the ship!! The dock areas of Shanghai are huge!! There are ships leaving all the time and it can be a little confusing. I guess another alternative is making sure a taxi driver can get you to the correct dock.
I spent a couple of hours just wandering along the river and checking things out. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss my sailing.

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower

by Chris_Dahlia

Anyone arriving in Shanghai at night from the airport for the first time is immediately taken with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower as it monopolizes an already amazing emerging skyline. Situated within the Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Pudong New Area, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, with a giddy height of 468 meters, is the world's third tallest TV tower after the 553-meter CN Tower in Toronto and the 535-meter Moscow TV Tower.

"my real "homepage":)"

and it is very strange to me that as a shanghainese, i haven't had pictures about this city:) the several pictrues i had is put here, and i planned to take a full view of shanghai later to build a good shanghai page, this page is still under construction , let's wait and see , sure that i will make them full nd interesting, wish to present to all a true shanghai, the picture above it a church in shanghai, for there are not many churches here , we chinese more believed in Buddism, so we seldom go to the church, but it is really a city view here, so i present it here, later , there will be more about shanghai:)

"Oriental Pearl"

this picture was taken at Bund at night, and across the HuangPu River you could see the Oriental Pearl, it is the highest TV tower in Asia, about less than 500 meters, it seemed:) and this is the night sight there, and i think the city landscape at night is very beautiful indeed, esp when those old buildings on the Bund really, they are so nice , landscape in shanghai is worth seeing , i think so:)

"The Grand Theatre"

the building in this picture is the Shanghai Grand Theatre, and it is designed by an French archetecturer, and it has a speceal design, maybe the pitures are a bit little, but at least, a general idea about it can be got, right?:)

"Xu Jia Hui"

and this picture was taken at the most important commercial center at shanghai-----Xu Jia Hui, and it was taken on the fiftith anniversary of our national day, so fire works are also there, they are all night sight here. later i shall go out to take the city view at daytime, to present a full shanghai:)
