Legendale Hotel Beijing

a True Luxury Hotel

Stayed in the Legendale for a few nights this May.
Was coming from a Leading Hotels of the World member in Shanghai (which lets say was disappointing) so was a little worried.
The moment we stepped in all my worries disappeared. This is one of the top.
Call me old fashioned but new hotels nowadays are just a disappointment !!
- I mean when we enter the door The Legendale bellboys actually come after us to ask if they could take our 1 shopping bag up to our room !!! Recently with other 5star hotels there's a 50-50 chance that if you check in with one bag you end up taking it your self to your room unescorted along with your room key !!

-We are Muslims, and they Knew !! first morning while having breakfast the staff there even knew our room number (my mom wears the head scarf) just so they can advice us of which food has pork in it !!
Ordered room service one night.. they called after we just made the order and APOLOGISED that the soup was cooked with pork oil !
I loved it ...

-The Portuguese restaurant was superb !!

-The public ares have complimentary WiFi while the rooms have complimentary LAN internet.
I am a Mac user and one night decided to connect but couldn't called them, came up and told me (apologetically) that for Macs some things needed to be done on the computer itself and if I would be patient enough the person can come up tomorrow morning to fix it.. Will was not an important issue for me so left the hotel early in the morning without telling them about the internet. Returning in the afternoon found that the cable was removed and WiFi Router was installed :)

p.s. just assuming that I do sound older in this post, I am not :P I'm 25

Unique Quality: -True 5-star service- with outstanding manners and professionalism.
-Pretty luxuries decor.
-Amazing rooms and bathrooms. And TV and sitting area and books in the it and the carpet ! and the beds!
-a true concierge service.
-Every one goes the extra hundred miles for their guests.
-Location is great.
-Half of what we paid in The Leading Hotel member in Shanghai.
