Ziyu Binguan (Purple Jade Hotel): Good Downtown Budget Hotel

My friends and I were there on 30/4, the day before May holiday week. We got a triple room with aircon and ensuite for 160 RMB, including Chinese buffet breakfast! Since the 3rd bed was mattress on top of mattress, we managed to sleep 4 in the room, 40 RMB/person. Not bad considering that Feitian Binguan at the train station was 35 RMB/person for a 4-bed room with no ensuite. I think twin with ensuite would cost around 90 to 100 RMB depending on your bargaining skills, twin without ensuite would be 60 RMB.
It's walking distance to the 9 Dragons Screen and Huayan Temple.

Unique Quality: Hotel is smack in the middle of town (instead of being stuck out at the train station, ugh!) with good public transport links.
Originating less than a street away is bus 10 which runs directly to Yungang Grottoes. Alternatively take bus 4 (1 RMB) to Xinkaili then change to bus 3 (1.5 RMB) to get to Yungang Grottoes.
