There are some really magic places...

There are some really magic places outside of Chengdu, mountains and caves
and stuff which makes the whole trip worthwhile.The picture was taken
from the beaten path early one morning.But Chengdu was off the beaten
path back in 1986, so maybe it qualifies. The zoo has pandas and there
are also wildlife parks with wild pandas.
Most people back then were still wearing Mao blue pajamas and a lot of the young
were into 70`s style clothes like flares and platform shoes!
Camera shy perhaps?

Don't know if this panda had already eaten and so was ready to have a morning nap, or if she was very tired, or just simply that she was camera shy and wanted us to stop taking photos!? Either way, we stopped taking photos and moved onto the next desirable and cute one!!!!
Chengdu - Home of Pandas

Well if you want to see Pandas Chendgu is the place to come. Didnt see much else but then again i didnt really want too. Too much else to see in China and too little time :P
But i will say. make sure you take the trip to Leshan to see the big buddha. very impressive and only two hours away by bus
