Hey all,
I will be in Chengdu in June. Really looking forward to exploring China. I was wondering if it's possible to hold luggages in Chengdu airport? I think I will be flying to Yunnan for a few days and then coming back to catch a flight back to shanghai.
Also, how far is Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu? I will only be spending 2 nights in Chengdu, wondering if that's enough time to venture out there? Thanks!
Yes there is a luggage hold in Chengdu airport.Minimum charge is for 6 hrs .Also different sizes of compartment.U can try to check flight to Jiuzhaiguo at air china website.Flight time is half hour.By road will be around 10 hrs.
Try Ching Cheng Shan which is 1 hr away by road for short trip..

You can leave your luggage at airport when you traveling to Yunnan. And if you have 2 night in Chengdu, I think you can fly to Jiuzhai Gou. You know you just need 3 days and 2 night with local group for Jiuzhai Gou tour.

The Hall of Three Saints is the first hall you'll come to after stepping through the main entrance gate known as the Hall of Lokapalas. The hall is flanked by the drum tower on the left and the bell tower on the right. The hall features a single-eaved roof and was built in the 36th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi in 1697 and was renovated in 1815. Enshrined in the hall are riding statues of the three saints: Avalokitesvara, Manjusri and Samantabhadra. They were moulded in 1829 and symbolise mercy, wisdom and aspiration. On the two sides of the hall are iron statues of Emperor Wenchang and Emperor Guansheng which were moulded during the reign of Emperor Tongzhi.
I visit Chengdu for few times, some for business, some for tourist. Sichuan province is a good travel place of China, Huo Guo(hot pot), Panda, Sichuan food, everything there is my favourate.
Chengdu is not hot these days, even a little cold at night with constaint rainy day.
I don't know how can it be that funny, do you like this animal?
If you dare not eat hot and spicy food, don't come to Chengdu or Sichuan, you will die, haha
