Marketstreets, fish
by sachara
And of course, we found also a place in the marketstreets of Chengdu with fishvendors.
There were many kinds of fish in the wide buckets with water. I don't know anything about fish, so don't ask me which kinds were available. I'm alwasy very curious, like to see everything, and if possible to know everything, but at this market there were some swimming creatures, I never saw before and nobody could tell me.
WUHOU temple
by Christianzagar
Dedicated to the minister of war Zhuge Liang. The temple has beautiful gardens and buildings. I went in the late afternoon and it was so peaceful. There was hardly anybody about as it closes at 6pm. It's probably worth going in the evening. There is a really cool looking red corridor near the Tomb. The corridor is shaped like an 'S'. There is a nice tea house where we had a nice green tea. The temple is worth visiting and is also right at the top of the Tibetan wares street. So you can browse through Tibetan souveniers ....if you arn't going on to TIbet ;(
People's Park
by Willettsworld
The People's Park was once called the Little City Park when it was created in 1921. It then changed its name to the People's Park in 1949. Most, if not all, cities in China have a People's Park and they're great places to go to in order to witness everyday Chinese life. When I visited people were singing karaoke, dancing, playing cards and Chinese chess (mah-jong). There were also some kind of performances going on and the whole place was buzzing and certainly not quiet even on a Monday afternoon.
