visit some of the places were the local Chinese eat and try something typical Sichuan.See the pandas.Buy some GINSENG wine with the root in the bottle. Sitting almost alone in the huge banquet hall of the Jing Jiang Hotel and watching the waitress's standing at the end of the tables watching me.Asking her to put on the tape I had with me of dance music and watching the smiles come across there faces. The room could have seated more than a thousand but there weren't more than 15 tourists eating then, but maybe 40 girls working standing and waiting for some imaginery group. I visited a local cafe the following day and took this picture.

The Giant Panda Breeding Research Base is home to several giant and red pandas. The red pandas I have to admit are pretty cool, too. You need to go early in the morning, as the pandas eat and play then. Most of the day they just sleep. Your hostel or hotel can make arrangements. It cost me Y70 for transport and entrance but the price was quite variable, even among the people on my minibus.

The carving began in the year 713 by a Buddhist monk, Haitong, and the Buddha was completed after 90 years of hard work. The work was interrupted when a corrupt official wanted bribes for the funds and work to continue. As a protest the monk removed his own eyes and presented them to the official!
Relaxing life style

I like Chengdu for it's true relaxing life style, it really made me forgot my stress which i often have by living in big cities for each time i was there.
I like to cruise back streets there, people were so relaxed, they chat ( called Bai Long Men Zhen)everywhere in tea houses or simple open field, Chengdunese like to play Chinese Ma Jiang ( a traditional gambling game), during holidays, almost every family play this game, with services of delicious local food, people can easily spend whole day and night in front of the Ma Jiang table with their friends and relatives.
Hao Zi Dong is a restunrant which is famous for smoked ducks dishes in Gu Lou Street area, also down in this street, you should also take away the famous "Er Jie Tu Ding" ( Younger Sister's Rabbit dish), those dishes are the representative dishes and restunrant in Cheng Du. They still keep the traditional style and test, which are a real treasure.
