A reasonable hotel for the price
The hotel is located at the back of the river about a km from the Buddha. I have stayed twice at this hotel. Stayed once in 2004 and once in summer 2007, both of the time my experience were very good for the price range (RMB200). A breakfast was included during both stays. The room was clean and large by Chinese standard, don’t expect too much. The staff spoke some English; luckily I cab speak Chinese and English as well. You can request a room overlooking the Buddha, but it will cost you more.
Use a taxi to get to the Buddha site as it is quit far to walk their and do not get on one of the bicycles that said will get you to the Buddha for a very low price.
Unique Quality: The view overlooking the Buddha site and the river view in the morning.
