Tingri Guesthouse: Basic Accomodation

We stayed overnight at the Tingri Guesthouse which is located right on the main road in the town. The facilities are extremely basic with two beds to a room, electricity goes on between 8 - 11pm, and the toilets are of course the fabulous squats that we've all come to know and love (although they were clean and didn't smell bad. Yay!!).

There was an opportunity to have a shower but you had to pay Y10 for the privilege and it was just a trickle and very dark so you had to leave the door open for all the local Tibetans to have a good old laugh!

Attached to the accomodation is a restaurant which is warm with the stoves and serves basic food and drinks.

All in all it is a comfortable stay but not one to dwell in for long.
