Wuyi shan was rewarded 'the world natural and cultural heritage site' for its diversity of species, unique culture which has great influence on China: philosopher Zhuxi, Chinese tea, and culture of ancient Yue.

The most expensive tea: In 2005, 20g of Dahongpao(Wuyi rock-essence tea) was sold for RMB208,000(app.US$25,300) at an auction in Wuyi Shan.

There are only three natural Dahongpao trees grow in a cliff in Wuyi Mountain and the tea is picked by monkeys trained by local authority.
