Built in the nineties and recently renovated, the hotel has six floors and executive suites, executive floors and non smoking rooms. There are rooms with disabled access too. I have only seen it form outside.

Unique Quality: Turpan Hotel is the prefered accomodation for backpackers in Turpan. The hotel has cheap dorm beds. It is also the place where you find John's information and internet-cafe. John has also a nics restaurant. When you want to meet other backpackers, this is certainly the place to go.

If the grape trellises are too touristy or non-authentic, the form Turpan Hotel you go just a few steps south, than you'll be on mud roads between old adobe houses.

The Turpan Hotel also has an indoor swimmingpool, which seems to be a big attraction for the local kids.
