Yinhu Hotel: Yinhu Hotel

This 2-star hotel is in a poor state of repair. The room had spectacular views over the 1-star hotel opposite, but it was well camouflaged by trees and shrubs.
However, the downside is that the room was damp, peeling lino floors, ham-fisted electrical installations and cracked tiles, with the cheapest wooden furniture it would be possible to source on this planet.
But, despite it all, the room was bright in the afternoon, and the bedsheets were clean and fresh, and there was hot drinking water for tea and coffee.
The restaurant was somewhat uninspiring - this place wouldn't figure on a culinary tour of China. Given the availability of fresh everything, this was a bit of a surprise.

Unique Quality: The hotel is superbly located at the centre of this big 'park' with boat trips available from an old geezer by the bridge. I don't think this is a commercial set-up, just someone who saw the possibility of earning a few kuai on his way back home. Sadly, no time to take him up on it.
