Rent a bicycle to Suhe Town along a lane. There are farmland and flower, and if you are lucky, you'll find the way to Suhe Town without ticket.
Reading and sleeping under the sunshine makes me feel happy.

Shuhe
by John195123
Shuhe should be labeled as a tourist trap, as it just has the feeling of a town purpose-built for tourists... shops selling souvenirs much the same as you find in Lijiang and Baisha just don't feel like they are part of an existing town, so much as they feel like they, and the town around them, were built for the point and purpose of raking in tourist dollars. You can get a giude at the door, but don't waste your money.

by Avieira67
The name Lijiang City refers to an administrative division comprising of urban and rural areas in northwestern Yunnan Province, namely one district (the old town district) and four counties, including the Liijang new town, Dayan old town, Shuhe old town, Baisha old town, and parts of the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Lijiang old town is more correctly called the Dayan old town.
The Lijiang old town has a history going back more than 800 years and was once a confluence for trade along the old tea horse road; it is famous for its orderly system of waterways and bridges. This city differs from other ancient Chinese cities in architecture, history and the culture of its traditional residents the Naxi people.
In 1996 one third of the town was destroyed by an earthquake in February 1996.
Lijiang old town (including Dayan, Baisha and Shuhe) was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List in December 4, 1997.
