Fee is about 10 RMB for renting the costume for a few minutes of picture taking.

My family and I will visit Lijiang and plan to jade dragon
snow mountain during 20-23 October.
Can anybody pls help?
Will there be plenty of snow at the time? we love snow.
What sort of temperature it will be?

It's a good time to go to Lijiang. You'll see jade dragon snow mountain clearly, without clouds and rain. But you can only see snow on the top of the mountain. The temperature is from 8~15 degrees.
I have traveled in Lijiang four times.

As in the web of chinaguide 's photos , there's a lot of snow.And what months should it be?

The cablecar will take you to the top of the mountain, above the snow line. It's cold, but only within 2 hours, and you can rent heavy coats before you get into the cablecar.

Sorry, I haven't heard any special activity. When tourists get off cablecars, they can only wander about and go up a little.

Travel Tips for Lijiang
Fly to Lijiang from Kunming
The flight ticket from Kunming costs between RMB 340 to RMB 420. Ask a few travel agents.
There is a RMB 50 airport on top of that.
The taxi ride from the airport into Lijiang costs between RMB 60 to RMB 80. The ride takes about 30 minutes.
LIJIANG : OLD TOWN
The old town of Lijiang is criss-crossed by rivers and a maze of twisting narrow alley-ways. It is a gorgeous little town, lovingly restored since the earthquake a few years ago.
The Naxi minority group is based in Lijiang. They are a matriarchial group and the Naxi language is a beautiful system of pictographs. Frequently, the Naxi locals perform a sort of group dance in the main square, inviting tourists to join in.
Lijiang is the prettified tourist town that you have in mind about CHINA. For a better atmosphere, stay WITHIN the Old Town. Note that there are NO CARS in Old Town. That's great.
Admittedly, the restaurants in the Old Town may be a little expensive (but in China standards... it is still VERY CHEAP). If you are really a cheapie, cross to the New Town, just a stone's throw away, for even cheaper food.
Spruce Meadow
This is the meadow where you get after taking the cable car to Yun Shan Ping (or walking). From the station it is a short walk through the forest, there are many people at the meadow but it is fantastic! Great panoramic view!
Price for the cable car: 40 Yuan for both ways
Black Dragon Pool Park - Dragon God Temple
This is the main structure in the pool park and the most famous. It was built in the 2nd year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1737) and was given the title of "Dragon God" in the 15th year of Emperor Guangxu in 1889. It features a courtyard with five yards, a gateway, rooms and a hall. A tablet with the words "Yushui Dragon Palace" is hung over the hall and the words "Sky Light and Cloud Shadow" is hung over the gateway.
