Did Mr. Yang's Inn at Lijiang have broadband internet service available in the rooms, or just in the lobby?

i didn't try his inn but as usual, internet service available only in the lobby at such inns. but guanfang hotel does have internet service in the rooms or in the villas.
Mr. Yang's Inn's internet is in the lobby. There are also other cafes in the old town which offer free internet service.
The place that I stayed at in Lijiang had 2 computers with free Internet access in the reception area. If you bring your own computer, you can also go online for free in the reception area (wireless) or in your own room (they can provide you with an Internet cable). If you don't have your own computer, you can also rent one from them at 20 RMB/day. Wonderful service!
I know Red Lantern Inn has got internet service in the rooms.
Right next to the waterwheel is this red stone mural which is called the `GuCheng ShengShi Tu` - `Prosperous World of Old Town`. The daily life of the people in their most prosperous era in history is depicted here. The DongBa culture & Naxi music are also depicted.
Most travellers probably come to Lijiang via Kunming/Dali by bus. In this case it might be useful to take a plane back in order to safe time. Southern Airlines for example fly to Kunming for approximately € 40-60. I think there at least 2 daily flights, you can buy your ticket for example at the very small travel agency at the market square.

In the bakcground you see Jade Dragon Mountain, which is about 5000m high. Behind this mountain is the Yangtse River, which winds its way through a spectacular gorge: the Tiper Leaping Gorge.
three hole wall is a kind of ancient wall in Lijiang, Naxi minority invent this wall for saving rare water resource. They drink at the frist hole, washing vagetables or foods at next, and washing clothes at the last one.
This small bridge is located just outside the main entrance of the Mu Mansion. It was built by the Mu chieftains in the Ming Dynasty. It is 3 meters long and 9.6 meters wide with moats flowing north, south and east. It is so named as it's meant to resemble a saddle.
