The hike through Tiger Leaping Gorge is spectacular. Take your time - too many rush through in 2 days and don't see anything. Best to take 3-4 days. Go down to the river - it's worth it. I'll have a full travelogue with photos published once I get home.
I don't know anything about it, but they call it a bar, so it may be designed for more alcohol than food. Who knows? You can be pretty certain that any western alcohol is going to be quite expensive here.
When we arrived to the guesthouse, there were about 6-7 people already there just finished dinner. We were still sweaty even it was a little cold at nite. While we were resting and checking out the place, this Korean guy came to join us and we were so glad to meet him at the end because he made us laughed so much for the whole time on this trek.
We almost got lost because the nite was falling. I even tripped a couple of times because I was so tired. But finally, with great pressure and we reached the Tina's guesthouse. We were exhausted, we dumped our bags and dropped our shoes right away to relieve.
I have to say this was a very very exciting and unforgettable expereince for me.
