Dehong Mangshi Hotel: A good hotel

It can be confusing to talk about Mangshi.

So we are in Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan province, China.
The town is known as Mangshi Town, but also as Luxi City.

This Hotel was perfect for me. It caters to large groups, political figures etc. and has all the amenities you could wish for, including a very good restaurant. I chose to stay in the small pavilion on one side of the park, and it was very quiet (and nice!)

You might think there's a fortune to be made in China translating text into comprehensible English. But although you might often be asked to translate something into proper English, and the Chinese will then thank you profusely, they usually won't use your work. They'll go with their own idea. Which is fine, but it's good to know...
