this is a famous place where u can see the tea fields etc. There are some call Lon Jia Cha (farm house dishes) that are CHEAP and of very good quality. I especially like the spicy snail, i can eat two dishes my own.
If you come to HangZhou during spring time, and make it on or before the Ching Ming Festival, you can see lots of tea girls on the mountain picking tea leaves.
For buying tea, I recommend you to buy those that are after Ching Ming Festival one, thou the before Ching Ming Festival one is always the most famous and expensive, but if you really know about tea, u will know the best one are after Ching Ming Festvial after you try it. (actually this info is told by my Hangzhou friend who has a degree in tea leaves)
