Leisure pace in Hangzhou
How many nights should we stay in Hangzhou? We want to soak in as much as possible and do in in a relaxed way. This is my heritage too. Thank you.

Hangzhou is fine especially if you are staying near the West Lake. However, if you have the time, try the Fuchun Resort ( about 1 hour from Hangzhou ). I was there last weekend and it certaintly worth a revisit.

Macro Polo called it "the finest and most splendid city in the world." Hangzhou is one of the six ancient capitals of China. The legendary Xi Hu (West Lake), an area of emerald hills, elegant gardens, reflecting pools, temples and teahouses, is Hangzhou's centerpiece. Located in the Xi Hu area, Solitary Hill Island features several historic pavilions, the Zhejiang Provincial Museum and the Seal Engraver's Club. The Grand Canal, connecting Hangzhou with Beijing, is one of the most extensive man-made engineering works in the world. Other famous attractions include Yue Fei's Tomb, Lingyin Temple and Six Harmonies Pagoda.
The finest of Hangzhou cuisine can be found at Xi Hu. West Lake vinegar carp and snow-white shrimp are among the best known dishes.
Silk, which is available in a variety of different forms, is the most acclaimed and popular product in Hangzhou. As it has been for centuries, Hangzhou is a major industrial centre which produces knitwear, textiles, foodstuffs, tea and light industrial goods.
