Good business hotel near Westlake
The Merchant Marco Hotel is located on Pinghai Road, about 15 minutes walk from the Westlake. It is convenient for sightseeing on the Westlake and also near the train station. The room which I had faced the Westlake. This hotel is predominantly catered for Chinese businessmen.
Unique Quality: Breakfast was on the 17th floor - a sumptous buffet spread of Chinese and Western cuisine with great views of the city and the Westlake. The lady at the concierge was helpful in assisting me in buying my train tickets to Suzhou. She immediately despatched the bellboy to the train station with the tickets. I only had to pay for the return taxi fare of RMB24.

500 meter to West Lake
Breakfast is quite good including Western and Chinese and the service is patient.
Unique Quality: I booked the room via C-trip. Surprise was that my room was upgraded When I checked in...:). Of course, there were free fruit and map in the room!
