Looking for english or french speaking expats in Hangzhou :)

Hi everyone! I just arrived in Hangzhou and looking for english or french speaking expats to enjoy my time here. I'm here for a year working, I came from the UK where I've lived for 5 yrs and loved it! I can speak chinese so there no problem there. As a newcomer here would love to get to know the place, where to go and not to go, things to do here etc.. Any one with a sense of adventure and fun is very welcome :D

Hi Persa,
I've just arrived in Hangzhou and will be working here for at least 6 months! Everyone at work is Chinese, so it would be great to meet up with someone that speaks good English. I too have lived in Leeds - I went to Uni there. If you fancy a coffee sometime, let me know.

While browsing went through your profile. I have recently arrived in Hangzhou on working visa here. I work in a UK based buying office here situated in Qingbo Plaza, Westlake. We take care of the productions for a label called 'New Look '.
I am an Indian Protestant christian who has been educated in the schools established by the British Government there in India, so have no problems while communicating in English.
I am a single who spends free time and weekends listening to the music, humming, singing watching television. ........ my favourite channel is Discovery. Longjing tea has a history of more than 1,200 years. Due to its unique fragrance, luscious flavor, nice leaf shape, and emerald color, it used to be a tribute given to the imperial families of the past dynasties.
In the Tteahouse drinking a cup of Longjing tea becomes an enchanting experience. We gave ourselves a table on the second floor with a gorgeous view, and a cup of this special Longjing tea. The tea is beautiful to look at, since the water stayes so clear. You'll get hot water to add to your cup as often as you want. I can not recall the name of the teahouse we enjoyed our tea, but maybe it is fun to discover your own favourite place.
Longjing (Dragon Well), is a small village 20 kilometers from downtown Hangzhou. This village offers favorable conditions for growing tea.

6 parks r holding half of the West lake into their arms, the one u c is the 6th. Every Sunday morning there's an English Corner, by that time hundreds of ppl from different ages flock to this spot. A neat place to make friends.
Compare with Beijing, Lions r not always seen in Hangzhou, plus have not been well-kept.=P
