One Thousand Island Lake Resort Intercontinental
The resort we're staying in is still in Hangzhou, but took us a 2 hour drive to get there. It's practically in the middle of nowhere. Their entrance seems to be miles from the main building, where we noticed every tree is brightly lit by a spotlight. And they have like thousands of them. It costs a lot I'm sure, but it's also necessary as it is the only lighting there is with nothing else around it except a vast lake and jungly area.
It's an amazing resort with great pools. We spent mornings and afternoons in the pool. The hotel was pretty busy that weekend, lots of kids and families.
Unique Quality: Great kids pool - plus warm indoor pool, plunge pools scattered surrounding the main pool plus a great play area. Food is nice, good quality food.
