Stayed in Lakeview Hotel as part of an organised tour of China in August 2006. Found the location breathtaking especially from the Restaraunt on the seventh floor which served breakfast. View alone are worth the price of the room.
Accomodation definitely 4.5 stars and one of the better hotels we stayed in during our tour of China.
Rooms are well appointed even though airconditioner temperature should be lower for my liking. Service great, views worth a $1 Million. No faults or hestitaion in recommending this establishment to anyone wishing to stay in Hangzhou for a few days.
