Tea plantations
by extrajoce
Hills covered in tea plantations are one of the arguments for Hangzhou, along with its lake. If you have never seen tea plantations and are very sick of a big city like Shanghai, the city may be worth a day break. Otherwise, it is an expensive, crowded, unoriginal and overrated place for someone coming from abroad. This is typically a nice place for the people who live here or want a week-end break from the coast, but is not world class at all. My only and big disappointment in China.
