Mystic Mogan: Mystic Mogan super private and nice

This place might be a little expensive but its worth it!! Beatiful scenic views and delicious food made by expert chinese. Plus they have people that speak english, spanish and chinese.

Each room is personally decorated. They offer outdoor BBQ services and free bicycle rental. Having tea or coffee on the wood balconies, you are to have totally different views and feelings in day time and at night. The chefs cook in the open kitchen and all dishes are made in the most fresh ingredients while it’s up to you if you want to cook yourself.

Moganshan Loft: Disaster in Moganshan

Moganshan Loft is billed on it's website as a "luxury accomodation" but nothing could be further from the truth. For starters, it's on the 5th floor of a very local building with no lift. There were no curtains on the windows, the towels were small and threadbear, there was a layer of dust on everything, and the bed had a duvet but no duvet cover. On top of everything, nobody spoke english upon check in and the location is not good either. It is off the mountain, and a good 20 minute drive to get to the hiking trails and main tourist areas. Plus, it is a complete rip off for what you get with prices starting at over 800 rmb ($120). Stay on the mountain for a fraction of the price and stay away from this scam.

Moganshan Loft and Nakedretreats.cn: 2 options for non-Chinese speakers

Both Moganshan Loft and Nakedretreats are too guest houses built by Foreigners from Shanghai outside of Moganshan national park.

They offer nice rooms and English tours.

Moganshan Loft: Nice place at Moganshan

Stay was excellent, everything was up to standard, modern, clean, western design and great view of the lake.

Lake and hill view on two sides of the loft, two story loft gives it a special ambience. Nice quiet location away from the tourists.
