Wuzhen Pengda Holiday Hotel: Almost a luxury Hotel & Cheap

I didn't mean to stay here especially when I saw rates of 560 - 880RMB. But as I was able to "bargain"down to 100RMB a night I decided to stay one night - I won't guarantee you will do that but if it is a quiet time try it - there were hardly any tourist around when I was there in August.

The Penga has 235 rooms so is a decent size but has not real amenities. Room and bathroom were fine though, quite large and with A/C. They do have deluxe rooms but I didn't see them.

There is a business centre but you couldn't use their computer for internet access. There was access in the rooms.

Unique Quality: Nothing really unique but good value for 100RMB and close to shops etc. The restaurant was nice as was the bar - as a solo female I found Wuzhen a bit hard to negotiate for meals and drinks.

A new street of shops is being developed opposite but this end of town was quiet .
