Wuzhen Pengda Holiday Hotel: Almost a luxury Hotel & Cheap

I didn't mean to stay here especially when I saw rates of 560 - 880RMB. But as I was able to "bargain"down to 100RMB a night I decided to stay one night - I won't guarantee you will do that but if it is a quiet time try it - there were hardly any tourist around when I was there in August.

The Penga has 235 rooms so is a decent size but has not real amenities. Room and bathroom were fine though, quite large and with A/C. They do have deluxe rooms but I didn't see them.

There is a business centre but you couldn't use their computer for internet access. There was access in the rooms.

Nothing really unique but good value for 100RMB and close to shops etc. The restaurant was nice as was the bar - as a solo female I found Wuzhen a bit hard to negotiate for meals and drinks.

A new street of shops is being developed opposite but this end of town was quiet .

No English signage at all .... look for the logo
