British International Commerce Hotel: Hell, but with air conditionning...

This hotel is beautifully located near Xi'an's city center, and is 'relatively' cheap at 300 Yuan / night for a double room. However, those are the only 2 good aspects of this place; STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. First off, there was no English whatsoever; wether it was in one of its 2 restaurants (traditional and hot-pot), or one of its staff members, you won't ever hear a single word of English uttered there. Second, they don't even have any pamphlets or information on the city...and they call themselves a 'tourist' hotel!!
The manager scoffed at us when I politely requested his assistance to make a reservation for the Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. In conclusion, this place is horrible, so consider the Xi'an Bell Tower Hotel, which is located a stones throw away from the Bell Tower in the city center.
P.S. I trashed the room, stole the keycard and emptied the mini-bar when I left. Payback for an...'experience' i'm likely to forget very soon.

NONE. Stay away, trust me.

Anxinyuan Hotel: A good location

This Hotel is several stories tall and has good restarunt. the Staff does not speak English well.

No special things outstanding about this hotel. It is relativly close to the tran station. Just an average hotel. Rack rate for a standard room is 228RMB. An economic room is 218RMB. You maybe able to bargin. The Goverment China Service CTS had a rate of 150RMB so look for a deal.
