Hi all!
I'll be visiting a friend in Shanghai soon and would like to visit Yiwu for shopping. However, I'm just a retail consumer. Hence would like to understand, would the suppliers in Yiwu wholesale markets also provide retail sales? Which wholesale markets are more friendly/ acceptable to retail sales? thanks!
You can usually not buy retail at the wholesale market. You really have to convince them that you just need a sample for now, but are really interested in buying a thousand pieces... There is a small tourist shopping area at Trade City 2, though.
But at the underground mall at Xiuhu Square (Shiji Shopping Center), you can do some good bargain shopping (not same prices, though).
